1、 The following principles shall be followed when the frequency converter is driven by one to two or even by one to many
1. Power calculation of frequency converter:
Inverter power ≥ total power of driven motor × 1.5x
2. Connection method of frequency converter and motor:
The one driven multi application frequency converter cannot judge whether a single motor is overloaded, so the motor thermal protection circuit breaker corresponding to the rated current of the motor must be installed at the power input end of each motor. When the motor is overloaded, the thermal protection circuit breaker trips to protect the motor.
2、 It is forbidden to connect switches or contactors at the output port of the frequency converter
In special applications, if the output port of the frequency converter needs to be connected with a switch or a circuit breaker, it is forbidden to switch the switch or contactor when the motor is running. It must be switched when the motor is stopped, otherwise it is easy to cause the frequency converter to trip or damage.
